1 lost freezer of food should just about justify it.
It's cold in CT at the moment (high was 34f) but overall so far I agree its been mild.
In fact its been years since we had an extended period of real testicular-numbing cold near the Atlantic coast.
It was a cold bastige all day, 36 and rain with some 'character' to it.
I had a fantasy of not having to drain the irrigation system this year, it was only a dream though.
It will drop to the low 20's by Sunday/Monday.
That is quite chilly for the Puget Sound area.
we had the massive BlackOut of 2003 that put over 50 million people in the dark. I was glad it happened in summer and not winter.We had ~5 extended outages throughout 2021, not including the 2 day snowpocalypse. NEVER AGAIN.
