Very nice. What did you use?

I like Meguiars.

Started with #9 swirl remover, #7 show car glaze, #21 sealant and finally gold class wax.

There is one bird dropping blem on the hood I have to get out and a small 1/2" scratch on the rear trunk lid. #9 wasn't cutting it and I didn't have my scratchX or stronger stuff with me.

I used a porter cable 7336 with edge 2000 pads (green for the #9, white for the #7 and red for the sealant/wax).

Microfiber to buff.

How long did all that take? I've been meaning to pick up a porter cable unit, I hear so many good stories about them.

About 6 hours full interior, engine and exterior.

Nice car! Looks fantastic too.

I've always loved the S2000. Wouldn't mind owning one but the Lotus Elise has a firmer hold on my heart strings.

What do you use to clean the engine? I'm not comfortable using a hose at all.

i didn't have to do more than wipe down the s2k's but on the ones I have done I get the engine warm, spray it down with a light degreaser/simple green and rinse. I then follow up with an air hose if I have it or towel dry everything well then crank it up for a few mins.

You want to avoid drenching electronics, but most engines will get water up on them anyway.
