i was working up in cedar rapids installing direct tv....
the temp on one day was - 15 with the wind chill...
the week prior i had done a upgrade for a customer,,, he called me and asked if i could stop over and extend his cables from his sat dish because he had bought a new tv and tv stand since i had done the upgrade,,,
while i ws there he asked if i could hook up his laptop to the surround sound system,, i told him i would need one of the cables i had left there when i did his upgrade,,, we went looking for the box i had left when we were in his garage i noticed a laptop on the shilf,,, and with garage not being heated i suggested that he bring it into the house before the temp broke his screen,, he siad it was all messed up and that he was going to throw it away,,, i siad hey i fix them and i would buy it from him he siad no he would just give it to me,,
he gave me a sony pcg-grt360zg
it was password locked,,. and after about a hour of trying i got into the laptop to check things out.. it came fully loaded with tv tuner and everything... mobil intel pent 4 3.06 gh processor and 1 gig of ram..
it also had 940 + pron vids,,, yeah i knew what was wrong with it and why it was messed up... after restoring the laptop.. it works just fine,.,,
the thing is i have never had a laptop before .. so i can over clock desktop and stuff.. but is there a way to tweak laptops too?
what would u do with this laptop.... ?
