And today I got my first wasp in the house. It was walking, wings extended from one step down the next heading into the finished basement--where I happen to be. No doubt the little fucker was tracking me.

hit 65 here on Tuesday... but was well below freezing last night. everything a bit glazed over this morning but overall snowfall has been minimal so far. February and March are typically the snowier months though, at least historically.

I'd love to. This MD winter is bullshit. I was cutting vines yesterday, and sat down to sharpen my chain, and a spritely spider scurried across my legs. I don't have a problem with spiders, even when they move quickly, but they shouldn't be full of energy this time of year. I shouldn't see them at all, and if I do, they should barely be moving.

A couple weeks early.

They'll freeze pretty good tomorrow night. Winter's settling back in today.

That's way too hot for winter.

It warmed up here too though, now it's warm enough for snow. Calling for a big storm tonight. Of course I have to work tomorrow of all days, so I'll have to deal with that. Going to get up earlier I guess. Calling for 50cm now. This is where having a car shelter would be nice. Could just drive out.
