I lmfao at this thread. I havent been a member here very long. Im not a regular poster. Im a fucking noob. Im the type of person who sits back and watch. Just watch. I only speak when I need to. I pay attention to detail. Thats just the kind of person I am. NOW. reason why I laughed my fucking ass off at this thread is well, 0 replies and rap in the subject line. I laugh because everybody has something to say here. This IS after all one of the larget forums on teh internet, i think.

What Im trying to say is, you bring "rap" into a forum full of computer geeks n nerds *raises hands*, youre not getting nothing.

I for one, enjoy HIP HOP. especially the underground scene. "modern rap" thats not a term we use. check out CYNE, immortal technique, jedi mind tricks. then come back.

I listened to the first min, its alright, could use some improvement. The background music for the intro was kinda lame for example.

I listened to the song. Didn't feel like replying since I really didn't have anything nice to say. Nothing really too negative either. My only comment is that his flow sounds a lot like Mr. Lif's. I'm not a big fan of the machine gun rap nonstop spit no pause monotone delivery, but I've heard worse.

Besides the fact that he ripped his first few bars from Jay-Z, not bad. Not stand out, but not bad.

i have to say that i'm not a big fan of rap/hip hop but after listening to this song, i'm still not a fan of rap/hip hop

No, he didn't rip the first few bars. Artists do this to pay homage, Jay-Z did it on Blueprint by using Slick Rick's The Ruler lines and flipping them, Jay-Z does this more often than *ANYONE* and MUCH MORE OFTEN THAN ANYONE ever... the song that Jay-Z did is very popular to any hip hop head ( Dead Presidents ) and you'd immediately know it's just Electronica paying homage.
