This is an interesting article from a pro-Israeli perspective.

It has been my opinion that while it has been difficult to criticize Israel's actions previously when they performed their "precision" strikes against suspected militant targets in Gaza and West Bank because you can argue that there was some restraint practiced, the actions of Israel In Lebanon recently are indefensible. Israel has clearly crossed a fine line.

The most tragic part of it is the amount of anti-Israeli sentiment it is generating. Israel may weaken Hezbollah a little, but it will clearly never "eliminate" them and on the contrary will likely make them stronger in the long term. This desperate, brutal attempt to destroy their enemies is actually going to make them stronger and more widespread.

There are many other threads where this post could have been put. (Both for & against Israel)

radical islamists will not stop until destruction of israel and eventual world domination, i know it sounds bit crazy but this is what those manipulative leaders tell those brainwashed soldiers of hezbollah, hamas, el quaida etc...this is war so there will be civilians in crossfire, people don't seem to care how many civilians die every day in iraq, afganistan, war torn african countries and other places in the world...but when it comes to israel and lebanon we are trying to take sides...war was never fair
