So we know of 4 dimensions: 3 of space and 1 of time.
We can move freely in any of the 3 dimensions: backwards, forward, sideways. We can look ahead in any spatial dimension. We know what's 10 feet ahead of us without actually being there.
'owever, time is different. Time is linear, and we can only move forwards in time. We cannot see what's ahead in time. In other words, we cannot see the future, or the past. Time is forced upon us. But maybe there is someone out there who can move freely in time just like we can move freely in space. Maybe that someone can see the whole future of our existence in the blink of an eye. That would mean that time is already defined and there would not be an option of free will, since everything we do is already written in the dimension of time. That someone can move forwards and backwards in time. That someone can look into the future or into the past.
