This summer I plan to write some short stories or a screen play, any suggestions on reading material?

Damn that was a long title, but yeah, any books, or magazines that will help me out, maybe give me some pointers on format, style, etc etc.

This is just for my own good, since I will only be interning this summer, I would really like to use my free time to write.

Or just visit your local library and look for books about writing. There are tons of them out there.

no ideas on reading material but when you write, write down every idea you get. my friend is writing a book on his laptop and over 400 pages written in the word document. the actual book is probably closer to 200-250 of those pages but is full of ideas. plus he backs up the document to 3 or 4 different places whenever he can.
