Ok, I don't feel like making an entire list, but this thread has a bunch of vocal trance songs. I contributed quite a few.

And if you STILL want more, then PM me, and I will glady provide an extensive list when I'm at my home computer.

I think that there is alot of talent in electronic music, but most of it (esp. the stuff just made to dance to) seems too cold. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it just seems that most trance or electronic music doesn't have much heart in it. All I hear is beeps and whistles, music that is great in a club but somewhat boring just to sit down and listen to.

Don't get me wrong, I love ambient, instrumental music, I've just never been a beat person. I like more lo-fi stuff than anything, but that's just me. Try stuff like Mum or Do Make Say Think. I've had this on repeat for a while, it's nice (not really electronic, just more ambient than anything). Boards of Canada has some great stuff out there, and the new Postal Service albulm is good.

I guess what I'm getting at is that people shouldn't lump all music together, and don't judge electronic music just from trance. To you trance lovers, although we may not care for Paul Oakenfold or the new Sarah Mclachlan remixes doesn't mean we are closed minded and rule out all trance music.

Excellent Post. And yes, I will agree, that there is a lot of crap out there. But then again, every genre has it's crap. I'm more into stuff by Ferry Corsten, DJ Tiesto, BT, etc.

I just hate it when people are soo close minded to it. But in all fairness, I'm the exact same way with Rap. I hate all forms of Rap/Hip-Hop. And I bash it just like the Trance Haters. I liked Rap till about four/five years ago, but not since then.

I don't "hate" trance. I isn't one of the genre's i listen a lot to, but hate isn't the word i would use. I like some vocals (so i may check out some of Keyser's suggestions), but the large majority of the 'electronica' sound i don't care for.

I don't like it when people are close minded about music either, so i try not to be. But i do like Rap.

I'm confused the thread is about electronic music, but I'm lsitening to something that sounds like it's from American Idol... 😕

woohoo something deticated to me.

😛 I don't get it but i still don't like electronic music. Gotta love headache inducing music!

Whose bright idea was it to "remix" songs by Enya? It disgusts me to hear 'Only Time' with a stupid drum line added to it. Does she give permission to fvck up her songs like that? :disgust:
