Do you have an extra $150 to blow? If so then yes it is, if not no it's not.

X1900 is the best single card up to date. You will not be disappointed if you get it.

If you can hold out, there have been some deals making the x1900xt around $375, but its a crap shoot as to when another will happen. Unless you play at a high resolution you won't see any difference. My x1800xt maxes everything @ 100+fps @ 1024x768

I think it DOES make a difference. I'm not sure if you consider 1280 x 1024 a high resolution or not, but in games like Oblivion, there is a difference in performance between the x1900 and x1800 series cards at this resolution.

1900XT is a LOT better, and I too am planning to go with one except the fact that a 7900GT(equal of 1800XT) costs Rs.20000 rougly in my country and the 1900XT is for 30000+, 1$=Rs.45, yet I am planning to go with the 1900XT and not 7900GT.

Go with the 1900XT and enjoy true gaming

I'd say it depends on the resolution you play
If you use 1600x1200 or above then undoubtely go for the x1900xt. Otherwise don't bother, high end cards need cpu limited resolutions to shine. ;)

You mean 1280x1024 in that case.

Yea I don't get these people saying that my OCed X1900XTX can't be bogged down at 1280x960/1024, its easy to do so, turn on 6xAA, 16xHQAF, Adaptive AA and unless your playing an older game, you'll bog the card down.

unless you play oblivion, X1800XT should be enough.

QFT.

I'd say that is pretty much the rule of thumb, at least with a hardware hog such as Oblivion out.

OMG I wrote cpu limited resolutions. I meant gpu of course and no I meant that in order for X1900XT or for 7900gtx to shine you need UXGA or greater resolutions, or in the worst scenario 1280x1024 with full AA/AF.
