When I try to connect this output: output
to this input: input
(from this spec: http://digital.ni.com/manuals....C77837862574960055A66A
The unbalanced grounded configuration gives accurate readings, however balanced grounded gives ~40-60 mV error (on a 500 mV signal).
I am pretty certain I am creating a voltage divider, just not sure why this isn't happening on both configurations.
Note that I am taking pin 2 (+) on the output to + of the BNC input, pin 3 (-) to the shield (-) of the input.
On the input side excitation is off, using DC coupling.
Can anyone give me a good explanation? I'm driving myself nuts over this
