This Shaolin monk is BATMAN!

lol was that a joke? i could find plenty real mma fighter videos that would be 100x more impressive.... that guy can probably kick some ass but that video sucks

I missed the fast part of the description.
Which part was that?
All that shows is what anyone doing traditional martial arts does in training or practice. 😛

A martial art style is only as good as the person that uses it.

I'm Korean and TKD sucks. It teaches nothing about grapple or close-hand fighting. Most of its practice consists of kicks. Kicks generally don't work in real life fights. It jeopardizes your balance and opens you up to some serious knock outs.

What the fuck is the practical use of roundhouse kick by turning your back? Enemy just blocks it and you're terribly vulnerable, recovering from balance.

I think it was devised for taking out a mounted opponent. Not much call for that anymore...

I hope Chuck Norris doesn't hear about this....

When I was in TKD we did grappling, locks, pressure point stuff, and other stuff along with things more traditionally associated with it..

Its about where you are taught as well. 😛

What we need a to get the best of Shaolin/MMA/SEAL/Karate/TKD/Muay Thai etc., have a big elimination tournament and settle what's the best once and for all. Otherwise it's all guessing.

Of that list the MMA or seal should win since they could in theory have been taught all the other skills listed. 😛
