Total BS. MA has had Romneycare for years, free access to world class hospitals in Boston for everyone. That diverted ambulance got stuck & had to go to Good Samaritan, a former Catholic hospital, in a city 30 miles south of Boston, not one of the teaching hospitals in Boston. I wouldn't go to Good Sam for a broken leg, never mind a broken spine.

These people are idiots. Interstate 93 handles about 200,000 commuters every day and is the most heavily used artery for the Airport, Hospitals and most other traffic for Boston. Seriously disrupting traffic into the city for almost a quarter of a million people didn't help their cause at all. Most of the posts on their facebook page are anything but supportive.

Though I do recall racist hospital access was a charge the usual suspects threw out there during the ebola "crisis" in Texas a few months ago (btw, sure am glad ebola has since been cured as is no longer an anger-inducing threat to the public ).

This here is just a stupid protest by people who don't have enough education to know what they're doing. Maybe that's the message, African-Americans don't have adequate access to education. See? Everything can be spun into noble causes! If we deny them educational opportunities they do stupid things like block freeways causing ambulances to be diverted. We need to do a better job educating them not to block freeways.

6 hours in the waiting room in the ER with my jaw broken into 4 pieces, then told to go home and come back at 8am to get it wired shut with no pain medications and a hassle to get a cold ice pack. Seriously, fuck Good Sam.
