This seems like an odd coincidence

I have driven past a school on my way to work every day since it opened years ago and have never seen a cop sitting outside of it watching for speeders. This is also really the only road to the voting station for the majority of the precinct with the school about a mile from the voting station.

So imagine my surprise when I was on my way to vote and I saw a cop actively pulling people over.

Now where did I leave that tin foil hat of mine?

Police officer doing his job. Story at 11.

I don't see a problem with what he/she is doing. Higher flow of traffic today, greater chance of people speeding by who normally wouldn't go that way. Police officer is just trying to ensure people follow the law.

This isn't the first election the school has been open and the presidential one drew FAR larger crowds. Besides I want him there when he's more likely to pop parents only. The crazy shit I see them pull to get snowflake to school...

As a general rule, I hate cops but even I can't get upset about this. He's simply setting up in a lucrative position. Not too mention it's in a school zone where we should be even less tolerant of traffic violations.

In my opinion, this is one time when a cop is right where he should be.

If I were shooting radar, I'd be where I knew a lot of people were going to be. Nothing wrong there.

Agreed that crazy minivan moms should be ticketed, though.
