This PSU any good?

Yea, Fortron are good quality, and apparently the ones prefixed with 'FSP' are better than the 'AX' ones. Not sure how quiet it is though - does it have a 120mm fan?

I'm not sure on how quiet they are either. And Atheus is right, the AX models don't have the quality that the FSP models do. Looking to power your Opteron 170 gaming rig?

Yep, the seasonic S12 currently in there is destined for other things. I think it does have a 120mm fan judging by the other models displayed on the page.

Hows this fortron PSU?

Its more expensive and has 50 less watts, which is never a bad thing when it comes to psu's. Is ithis epsilon one an even higher quality than the 650 watt one?

Ok, so FSP>AX, what about the FX ones though?

Unable to find the FSP650-80GLN on the FSP European site. I can only find the 600 and 700 watt units. But if it is in the same family as those then you should be OK. See if you can find the equivalent Enhance unit there and it will be at least as good if not better than the Fortron unit.

.bh.

I can vouche that the Seasonic S12 is very good quality and very quiet running. Fortrons are known for high quality as well.

Edit: Antec has had some problems with some of their models lately. Right now I'd shy away from them but thats just me.
