Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyup. Right now I'm in the depths of an ambien-induced... whatever it is ambien does. And what does it do, exactly? Well for one, it seriously messes with my depth perception. Depending on how I tilt my head, some letters look closer to me than others. Certain parts of the post window, certain windows... it's weird. And it's weirder that I can swear it's all moving. Not a lot, just a little. Gridlines move on the forum list, but the words take a half second to catch up, that kind of thing.

So yeah, this post is here to serve as a PSA: If you've taken your sleep aid and suddenly realize you have something you need to do, don't do it. Sleep on it. Because otherwise you might have to worry about whether or not you need to get pixel glue to keep everything on the screen in place.

Not that stupid. That'd be a great way to get me... erm... wait, what would that get me? Something about my liver exploding I think. Meh, anyway, BEER PLUS AMBIEN BAD!!

However, it is kinda like beer in that when I stand up and move I find myself having to re-teach my limbs how to move.

Hallucinations: Check
Forget about having it: Not Checked

Doing good so far, I guess. 1 out of 2 ain't bad.

I looked this thing up online. Apparently it's a Hypnotic, rather than a somnia inducer.

Right now, writing these words is as though the words are creating a mountain path along the edge of a heavily-snowed mountainface. That's what I'm seeing here, sometimes. And some other neat stuff. I won't go into details, as this thread has been remarkably absent of nonsensical rambling.

...not anymore.

it's a fast acting sleep-aid. it's designed to be out of your system quickly, you should be fine about 4 hours after taking it.

The most commonly observed side effects in controlled clinical trials were drowsiness (2%), dizziness (1%), and diarrhea (1%).

I'm going to have to declare that DIARRHEA has got to be one of the WORST possible side effects a sleep aid could possibly have.

I knew this dude in college who talked doctors into giving him scripts for adderall and ambien. We would chop them up and do trailmixes of them. If you think ambien is fun alone, imagine it while you are hyper and alert 😀

Man, that stuff is interesting, lemme tell ya.

At least none that you remember
Another side effect is amnesia 😛

I remember everything about last night, up until when I went to bed. Then it gets a little hazy.

What's worse - that dowsiness is a side effect, or that only TWO PERCENT of the test subjects experienced it?!
