Obama's a bigger disappointment, at least to me. I never expected much from Bush seeing who he was, him being from Texas and also being a Republican. There's no arguing that he left the country in a huge mess but I thought that Obama would be able to do something to fix it. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to be up to the job. Maybe there isn't anybody out there that is.
Heh. Has the thought crossed your mind that our current malaise was created quite knowingly? Figure it out. Who's served and who's not?
Righties started blaming Obama before he was even sworn in. It didn't take Rush long at all to label the economic crisis as the "Obama Recession"-

2 days after the election. It's been the same ever since. Whatever he does is wrong, because he's doing it, even when it's supporting the lootocracy, the winners in the current round of economic warfare...
Fix it? We were past that before he was ever sworn in. Repubs might as well point to their accomplishments and declare "Fix that, Biatch!"
Meanwhile, the looting continues... They've established a stubborn rear guard in the Senate and the SCOTUS, not to mention the hundreds of Fundie lawyers from fourth rate legal schools they injected into the federal bureaucracy. They view govt as incompetent, and have done their best to make it that way for decades, and for decades to come.
