If you can't, I hope your conservative consciense is bothered by what's really going on with the Bush administration.
They'll be far too busy thinking up new insults to actually do that. What's funny is, when a so-called liberal replies in kind what one usually hears is, "Typical liberal. Throwing insults with nothing of value to say." Now THAT'S irony!

Oh lord, there's a thing we call context. Don't take my comments outside of them.

Clinton was only smeared 24/7 and put in front of a grand jury to talk about adultry/receiving oral sex because he was a Democrat president. You just perfectly proved my point. THE LAW IS THE LAW AND THAT'S THAT, IT IS RIGHT. No matter that the state has no business peeking into our bedrooms or that nine-tenths of the time adultry charges are never laid.

Do you consider the following to be an insult? "Do us all a favour and STFU!"

Oh, oh, we never in a million years dreamed that terrorists would fly planes into a building Rice proudly maintained to the American people till it was revealed in FBI documents that warnings had been issued prior to 9/11 that just such a contingency had been warned about. As far as I'm concerned, lying to the American people is lying whether you're under oath or not. Politicians have only one real instinct, to cover their asses and get reelected.

2. Got up before a Grand Jury and told an outright lie.

3. If he would have acted after the terrorists bombed the USS cole, the 2 embassys, andf when Jordan offered up UBL (after he admitted to the USS cole bombings) maybe 9/11 would have enver occured.

If you ask me he brought nothing but shame to the office of the president of the United States.

You are a fool and a sheep. Did he lie about having an affair. Yes he did. But did that affect him doing his job. No it didn't. And if your looking to blame any President for 9/11, look no further than Bush. Because it is a fact that they had some info that something might happen and did nothing, saying the info was not reliable. Huh? Now 6000 bodies later I think we can safely say at least some kind of investigation should have been done. But thats if you want to blame a president for 9/11. Personally it was not Clinton's or Bush's fault. Only sheep led idiots like yourself spout the kind of blind bias crap. It so so stupid for anybody to try and pin some blame on any of our presidents for what happened on 9/11.

I firmly believe that ANY President we field from the two major parties will be a liar and accountable only to the "people" who fund their campaigns. Bush, Gore, pfft. It doesn't make a damn difference. Instead of Enron and Haliburton, you'd get AFL-CIO and the NEA. Perhaps this is why so many citizens are disillusioned and don't even care to vote.

It would be better if that was the case, but frankly most people are competely clueless other than the blurbs they catch on the radio and the local news... It's disturbing but the average ATOT poster has far more knowledge of the world around them than the average American citizen. That's scary now isn't it?

hehe liberial...

Gaard I don't normally agree with your views on many things posted, but with this one I think you are right on the money. If Clinton would have come right out and admitted it, this issue with the general public would have been settled. If you mess up, fess up. If you do, the majority of the time the out come is far less severe than if you lie about it.

her209 Sex in this country isn't a crime, tho certain sex acts in certain places are. Oral sex falls in the catagory of Sodomy which is illegal in many states. I don't know if it is the case in D.C. but I suppose you could look it up. Stupid law? Yes but it's still technically illegal.

Do I have to take the time to show how the site you linked to is wrong or do you just want to retract it now as anything resembling a credible source?

Even my grandmother, who would not vote for a Republican for a billion dollars, knows that Carter's presidency was a disaster for the country.

Tell me about it Vespian. Or are just hanging the man for what you thought or heard he did? What policies did he enact that lead to disaster?

I will not respect a man who coddles dictators while professing to be a beacon of human rights. And I will not respect a man who feels so guilty for everything his country has done that he will not defend it.

True. But Bush and the conservative goons who couldn't wait a week after taking control of Congress to weaken the clean air act (and God knows what else) are testament to just how much special interest arse they kiss.

I think I know what you're getting at. If you mean the shah of Iran he was our ally for 35 years, once he was overthrown Cater allowed him to come here for medical treatment which may have been the cause the embassy and hostage taking. What was he to do stat our former ally in the back? Does'nt set a very good prescedence for our realtions with other nations/leaders. Like if the Hasidic Jews took over Isreal and had a bounty out for sharrons head for some reson or another are we to turn him away? If your talking about his Catr center elcetion stuff, hey he does'nt have a military to work with anymore, so he works with what he has available and he tries to broker peace and fair elections where he can. Please be more specific.

And I will not respect a man who feels so guilty for everything his country that his done that he will not defend it.

Well then you don't respect me. Becasue right now there is no way in hell I would go fight to save my presidents face.

If you are telling me that you would let your fellow countrymen die simply because you didn't like your president, then I think you're a piece of sh!t.

Here's a website I found on the legalities of oral sex in the different states. Click here

Now here is the kicker. Where was the investigation against Monica if this was indeed illegal? I could be mistaken but it takes two to have oral sex... Was it ever confirmed if Clinton ever went down on her? In other words, who is that law aimed at, the giver or the receiver? This is proof that this was indeed a Republican-lead witchhunt and nothing more.

I've never voted for a Republican presidential candidate in my life (and I may never in the future), but I'm so blinded by hate for the Republican party that I would sacrifice my fellow countrymen to make some ridiculous political statement.
