There are two phones and the box where he keeps his Viagra on his desk. Do you need glasses?

Do you not see the photo of MLK? I'm not sure I'm the one that needs glasses. Its over his right shoulder. What exactly would one critique about a psycho desk when there is nothing on it. The most notable thing is a respectable picture of MLK.

It is pretty weird for someone who should be as busy as the president to have nothing on their desk seemingly at all times. It reminds me of Bernie Madoff.

Not that I actually think this guy does much of any actual work considering the news reports about his schedule.

She is only there so trump can have someone famous next to him for a photo op. He doesn't give a rats ass what she or anyone else has to say. It's all bullshit. And no she shouldn't be there, she is nothing more than a pathetic parasite on humanity, she has zero redeeming qualities besides her overrated looks which one day will drip off her face and she'll hide from the world like all the other shallow harlets.

there's not enough detail in the photo to tell who it is.

The picture? That's Trump's recently autographed picture from Frederick Douglas...for being so trump-y and not a bigoted asshat, even a little

I was referring to this quote, and honestly if you did not know who it was you can't tell.

Oddly missing are pictures of his family.

During the Obama years, there was a seemingly endless deluge of threads with posters lamenting every inane thing Obama did, with a fair amount of circle jerking, confirmation bias and an overall decline in both the quality and civility of discourse.

That lack of civility peaked during the 2016 election.

That same dynamic is now in play but reversed, even if Trump is deserving of so many threads.

I think posters like you, @zinfamous, @fskimospy and @Jhhnn engage in a respectful and intellectually honest way, which is why I dare enter some of the circle jerks to engage. You are increasingly becoming the exception.

Trump is far more deserving of criticism than Obama was. A much higher percentage of the complaints about Trump have factual and logical legitimately.

I don't disagree with you entirely here. Some Trump critics on this board can be over the top. I just think that in assessing the validity of criticism, you can't just look at the critics, what they're saying and how they're saying it. You have to the look at the subjects of their criticism to determine how closely the criticisms resemble reality.

He looks different in this pic, I know it's the smile, it looks familiar in a way... I GOT IT!!! He has the same smile Bill had in so many pics. I wonder if... no... could they have... I bet... hmmm.

I took a closer look at the pic from another source and it is heavily photoshopped. That may explain why some things look unnatural. Especially worked over is Trump's smile. For myself, his face doesn't appear as it does in most other pics that I see of him.

I've done portrait work in PS RAW down to pixels in detail only to see how off I was after zooming back out from the nitpicking. IDK, maybe the person editing the shot was rushed or something, but it's def not quality work.

edit - Heh, maybe the editor hates Trump and wanted to give Trump the 'ol mysterious Madonna treatment. ;)

Fair point, there are legitimate reasons to criticize just about every Trump decision. However, for all its faults, the Tea Party did a good job attacking Obama on one core issue and sticking with it.

Trump is able to deflect criticism because he has a lot of people hitting his shins with sticks, and no consolidated effort keeping him on defense for any one issue.

Its as if the noise and chaos is his defense.
