Peter Griffin: So what happened to the guy that stole the money?
Joe Swanson: Ironically, I severed his spine when I fell on him.
Peter Griffin: Sounds like you got some more competition at next year's Special People's Games. HehHehHehHehHeh.
Joe Swanson: Nope, he's dead.

Yeah, that's stance while I'm fighting. Straight up with my arms locked straight at my side with my fists clenched. The guy standing in front of him coulda put him down like that.

That was a serious sucker punch, though.

You're an idiot and a pussy.
A cheap shot by your rules. And as the saying goes, if you play by their rules, you lose. You're the aggressor here, not me. You try to start a fight or assault one of my friends and I'll take whatever steps necessary to stop it.

Frankly, if you decide to start shooting you're the idiot, not me. Prove your manliness elsewhere.

I hope you're joking.

Watch the video. The sounds his fist makes when it hits the guy's face is disgusting. He didn't pull the punch at all. He had all his weight and strength behind it.

After he threw it, he was taunting the recipient saying he was lucky he wasn't kicking him in the head. What caused so much anger.....

The man who threw that punch has no business being part of civilized society.

Yeah, okay, that's f%$#ed up. Just putting him down is one thing. But doing it and then trying to look all big because of it? Again, that's f%$#ed up.

I'm changing my opinion of the clip: it's wrong. If this was a case of defending a friend it would be okay, but that it ain't.

Wait, so you're mad at the clip because there is trashtalking involved, but not because the guy punched another guy out of nowhere?

Man, I hope you never get a weapon.

Am I the only person who thinks way too many guys get in fights over pride? Not saying that's what happened here, but I would bet it was.

It's stupid, and it can get you killed. You might feel like proving how manly you are and throw a few punches over some trash talking, but I might have a knife, or a gun, and how manly would you be lying on the pavement bleeding?

Someone else said it already, if it's a fight, it's not boxing or point sparring, you're stupid if you don't go all out. So getting in trivial fights seems like a poor idea to me when you don't know what the other person may do when they go all out.

Hit a dude when hes not looking at you. Very manly.

yeah, what a wuss.
See the thing is, I don't give a f%$# about being manly. I won. You got put down. Who's the dumbass here?

If I come to your house in the middle of a night and stab you for getting in a disagreement with a friend, my ethics would be okay with you? Because "I won"?

There is a certain honor in disputes. You don't hit someone if you're not actually going up against them, and you don't jump in on a fight. Your buddy pal got himself into it, and he can get himself out (until lives are threatened).
There isn't any honor in fighting. You fight to win, win to live.

EDIT: Unless you're just playfighting.

EDIT2: Though I don't see why the dude (who didn't look involved) punched him.

I'm angry because of his motivations. It wasn't selfless or even vaguely justifiable; he just punched the guy so he could say he beat him. Mindless violence is what I'm objecting to really.
