This PC has more spyware on it than a french hooker has STD's

Aren't you a little apprehensive using passwords and such on a machine you know is massively infected? There could be all kinds of crap on there less benign than spyware.

You mean my ATOT password? I don't use it for anything but, and a compromised AT account isn't going to make me cry any.

The only other password I put into this POS is my logon password - and AFAIK, it's nigh impossible to sniff that logon prompt.

Well, consider that this machine is only used by people who are supposed to know what they're doing.

no offense to any of you here in the field, but i seriously doubt that all help desk techs know what they're doing. if they're any good, they wouldn't be doing help desk anyway, they'll move on to non help-desk IT or tech jobs.

Welcome to corporate reality, where hard work and knowledge are independent of your position 😛 It's a sad truth that some of the best workers are given the worst jobs (but there are many cases where that is not true)

I guess what I'm trying to say is that most help desk techs don't know what they're doing, but there are a lot who do and are currently being screwed by the system 🙂
