edit: oh, and while on the topic of little league, did anyone see how badly that kid got served in the illinois/new york game? It was bottom of the 9th, and his team was down by 1. With one out, he was standing on third in great scoring position. The guy at the plate strikes out, and the kid on third thinks its 3 outs and game over, so he trots off the field, only to get tagged out. GAME OVER. That kid is gonna need some psychological help.

I saw that kid on the LLWS over the weekend. Unbelievably huge. He absolutely dwarfed the other kids out there. One of the announcers commented that since he's an average player, nobody's raised a stink. But if he were dominating, they would be demanding proof of birthdate, etc.

I also wondered if Saudi Arabia was hiring ringers. They had several Asian players, and this kid apparently is from Texas. I know KSA has a lot of foreigners employed in the oil industry but it made me curious.

His body doesn't seem too atheletic, unless he becomes like 7' or taller and then it doesn't matter.

If you've ever seen videos of Shaq when he was a kid, he was a bit clunky and clutzy on the basketball court. It is hard to get coordinated when your body is growing so fast at such a young age.

I was wondering the same thing when i saw it on espn last night.

he's got bigger feet than shaq at the same age.

I hope baseball is not his only sport.
