Sorry for ranting and blowing off steam for my own good and just dsplaying my oppinion. Apparently all that come from displaying oppinions and asking the same are flames. Sure flaming is also showing your oppinion, but its in a tacky and rude fashion. To all those who flamed and said they added me to their DNT because I voiced my oppinion... I say Thank you.

Now Have a Nice Day.

That is, by far, the stupidest policy in the world. That's like going to a store and having them tell you that they won't sell you an item unless you go out and advertise for them.

YOU are the one trying to make the sale, YOU need to shut up and try to make the sale. Obviously if you are that concerned about your thread being bumped either your items suck or your prices suck, so you should relish in the idea that if someone wants any part of what you are selling, you should take it unless things like heat don't check out.

Why do you FS/FT people insist on doing the bump thing so much anyway... you are all just working against each other. Some threads there have been bumped day after day since the summer, and that is just stupid.

In all honestly, they have no obligation to bump your post. It is curteous to do this, but it's not going to make them a troll if they don't. It's your responsibility to keep track of the thread, nice people will bump it for you! :)

Here's one more to add to my DNT list.

This has to be one of the most rediculous rant in the history of rants.

BEGIN RANT

How many feel that PM's from lowballers or anyone inquiring about items in your thread without a bump is both rude and uncouteous? I swear only about 10% of the messages I get from PM or Email have bumped my thread, which is why I added a disclaimer at the top of my threads sayiong I won't deal if you dont bump. Well someone emailed me this morning and I was in a bad mood as it was so I replied saying that I won't have time to answer his questions because he doesn't have time to bump my thread. Well he writes back saying I'm rude and he won't deal with rude people. PAAAAALEEEZE Did you not read my thread where it says I wont deal without a bump? and you call me rude!

IMHO, THAT"S JUST DUMB!!!!

I didnt say it was an obligation. I said it rude and uncouteous, which is just what you said. People may not like my policy and thats fine, I have seen others with the same policy and think it is good. I am not desperate for a sale, but I do expect the same treatment I give.

Bumping is courteous but not required. I think requiring a bump is a little extreme, but not necessarily rude. Must have been in the tone of the email.

Rude is ignoring your buyers' requests for status, then bragging about how you ignore them in Off Topic. But then again I didn't see anyone adding that trader to their DNT lists...

OTOH, lowball PMs are rude will always be ignored. If you actually can get it for that price elsewhere, then go buy elsewhere and don't fsck with me.

You guys are gonna flame over a rant. If I feel it is rude than this is my given right to feel this way. I am blowing off steam here thats ALL!!! Which is what a rant is. You are gonna tell me you guys dont think its rude! I could have been like every other idiot NOOB and addressed this in the FS/FT section itself but Im smart enough to know better than that. Like I said it is my policy and I am not desperate to make a sale if I have to deal with rude people. This is my stand and I am entitled to it. If you don't want to deal with me because you dont like my policy then please put me on your DNT list, because thats what I want, then I wont have to rant.

I will admit my tone and choice of words in the email were a bit bold, I was in a bad mood already. For the others in this thread ,As anyone will see I am very courteous and communicate very well with all the people I have dealt with and all your ramblings about putting me on A DNT list do not phase me one bit as my customer base is very happy and if these are the only people that will deal with me then so be it, because those I have dealt with are all couteous and excellent traders.

People I have dealt with in the past would disagree, and I doubt your sincerity in your statement of purchase and it phase me none either way.

Have a nice day.

From rules and guidelines:

Multiple Threads -- Please have no more than one or two threads active at the same time. Making more just unfairly pushes others sales ads further down. Be considerate please. :) And remember, you can edit your thread title and original post to make any additions or changes.

I believe my 2 threads are within this rule. I rarely make an oversite on the trading rules. Thank you and have a nice day.
