This mobo anygood?

Technology is an area that you almost always get what you pay for. Keep that in mind and you'll rarely have bad surprises.

ECS boards are good quality, stable, and in most cases high performing boards, up to par with Asus and MSI counterparts, and they're inexpensive. K7VzA is a good board, I don't have any experience with it but it is a solid, inexpensive board, like for example the K7VZA is $50 cheaper than the A7V133. Should you dump your A7V for it? Certainly No in your case as I see you are doing some serious ocing, and ECS boards are lacking in ocing options compared to A7V. But if you are in for a mobo upgrade than it really should be a DDR board, and a RAM upgrade to PC2100. i would recommend Epox 8K7A+, has incredible ocing options, including a 1/5 PCI divider should be able to take your fsb to incredible height's, and everything an ocer would want, plus high performance, and RAID. 8K7A+ on Pricewatch is sold cheapest for $119 for non RAID (8K7A), and $140 for RAID (8K7A+).
