I just bought some of the Klondike ones last month and was not impressed. The ice cream itself is kinda cheap tasting.

Lately I've just been buying the Haagen-Dazs and Magnum ice cream bars.

Are there "premium" ice cream sandwiches out there that you can get at the local grocery store?

I like the gold ones. Very tasty.

So if we ask simply where is the best ice cream, then ice cream sandwiches need not clutter the list of candidates. But if we ask: what is the most awesome ice cream treat in totality, and which poster is the hero that has called it to everyone's attention? Why in that case the answer is entirely different.

I am humbled in your august presence. You are truly a "~30% actual dairy" treat visionary.

Nevertheless, I cannot concur. For, on this field of mass-produced mediocrity, one quiescently frozen concoction reigns supreme. Esteemed members of the jury, I give you the Chocolate Eclair Bar:

unpossible as the moisture content destroys the integrity of the top/bottom cookie.
