This may prove interesting and maybe the end of Romney

Gawker, by whatever means, has laid its hands on 950 pages Romney investments records.
Many of which involve Romney foreign investments.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/...ial-records-romney-investments-172505431.html

Since Romney has presumably already submitted to the IRS his previous tax returns, and Romney as a US citizen must report those foreign investments to the IRS and pay taxes on profits, I wonder if various IRS auditors will be already rechecking previous Romney tax returns to make sure what was released by Gawker squares with Romney tax returns.

And if they don't, the IRS may not stop at just requesting back interests and penalities, and instead may file criminal charges of tax fraud against Romney.

LOL!

They made up a birth certificate. So why not "950 pages Romney investments records"?

Obama has but two issues he is running his campaign on: Re-distribution of wealth and Racism. The tactic is deflection from the real issue of this election: The economy.

This is just another not so subtle attempt to change the subject. It will not work.

Why are you automatically assuming he commited tax fraud?

No way Romney would ever get my vote.....but this.
Lot of stuff built into the tax code that allows for taxpayers keeping money in there own pockets

That would be so sweet and I think I would pee on myself if that happened

I've never seen even the slightest indication the above might be true. Common sense says it wouldn't be, particularly given all the lawyers and CPAs involved.

I scanned a few of the released documents (financial statements). They were all audited by Price Waterhouse. If we're to believe Romney is/was in control of these entities it's almost guaranteed Price Waterhouse handles his personal tax return(s) too. If so, the chance of tax fraud for Romney, whether civil or criminal, is as close to zero as it gets.

People seem to be forgetting that Obama is a war criminal and that he smoked weed in high school, the latter of which had same number of direct victims as not paying your taxes... and that number is zero.

Romney will be doing things a lot worse than paying a federal tax rate not more than 15%.

How the heck do you get from somebody has his financial records to criminal charges?

Wow, I glanced through the files. It is just a bunch of financial reports from the various funds that the Romneys have listed in the tax returns they released. There is nothing directly related to Romney. I am not really sure how this stuff is even remotely interesting.

I'm sure that Gawker will pay all the taxes required by law, just as Mitt says he has for decades. For both, that's obviously a matter of interpretation & structuring of assets.

OTOH, Gawker isn't running for president under the banner of "Believe in America", either.

Maybe this new information will lend some insight into the depth of Mitt's belief.

I believe in Thanksgiving turkeys the same way Mitt believes in America, apparently.

I keep saying it, but the loonie returners are akin to the loonie birthers...neither one really needs to use any logic to get from point A to point B.
