i'd like to see what people who use linux here have to say about that. i don't use either though, my short trial with linux didn't work out so well.

everyone has the right to their own opinion. Don't take this as fact. Just an opinion from a OpenBSD developer.

I understand and know how to use Linux a lot more then BSD. Which one do I prefer? Whichever one gets the job done.

BSD is preferable if you are creating a closed source project in which you plan on selling.

Linux/BSD is suitable if you plan on selling services.

edit: I also disagree with certain things he said too.

But again, that's just my opinion. He generalizes too damn much.
