One of the new robots may be pictured below. I'm not 100% sure if this is a 'bot, a vehicle used by military folk in the film , or part of Bay's purported Internet misinformation campaign.

Whatever it is, it looks just like what I said in the title...a jet ski (or sea-doo) with wheels slapped on it. Odd.

They're not Jet Skis. I've seen a few around my local Yamaha Bike shop. They're like 3 wheeled motorcycles. 2 on the front, with one in the back.

If it is a transformer, the only thing I can think of is Prowl. He's a futuristic police motorcycle in the Transformers: The Animated Series cartoon.

It's probably some Bay-ized bastardized Transformer though.

You can tell you aren't from the north. That's a snowmobile that's had wheels put on where the skis and track go.

I can't get to the link but after reading your description then I have seen one also. I had to take a double look when I passed it.

You are correct, I am not. And good point, that definitely looks more like a snowmobile now that you mention it.
