My roommate wants to buy it from me for $250, is that a fair price?


I'm thinking about getting the Dell 2405. Only problem is that I heard it might have a problem with single-link DVI (which almost all video cards have). I don't want to have to upgrade my ti4200 to use the 2405
 
thats a nice monitor. if youre selling it are you getting a replacement LCD with the money he gives you?

You're a tard if you bought it for 400 5 months ago, and now you're gonna sell it for 150 less. It hasn't depreciated that much.

my roommate got the 1905, and while it's nice, I actually prefer this lcd
 
I've got one (looking right at it) and I love it.

Wouldn't trade it for the larger Dell as the reason I bought this one was the response time, which the Dell doesn't have.

1) response time published means pretty much nothing (though this lcd is great for fast motion)
2) the 2405 has almost the same response time and fast motion is not an issue with it

is the 2405 a 12ms panel?

I know my L90D+ isn't flashing at 8ms like advertised, but I know for a fact that it responds faster than a 12ms panel and way faster than the others.

As it is, I can notice a few things where it is just not quite as fast as I'd like it to be (mostly when flying 500mph at treetop level in IL-2). I would probably be unable to use a slower panel, and I know I'd like a faster one.

but if the 2405 fits your requirements, its a great looking panel and i've only heard a few bad things about them.

yeah, it's a 12ms panel, just like the 2001fp. Although I hated the 2001fp image quality (screen door effect +++++++), the response time was great
