Clearly you don't remember the 80's.

Hint: Look at my name.

Ah, the good 'ol Deathstars.

That's was before the deathstar (aka 75GXP) era. Those indeed, were good drives. Much better than the Maxtor 7GB POS that was competing at the time.

Great Scott! You don't know what happens at 88 mph? 1.21 jiggawatts?

it's a reference to the movie "back to the future". the time travelling car in the movie needed 1.21 "jiggawatts" (as pronouced by its inventor) to make one time trip.

How have you never seen Back to the Future? It's one of the greatest movies of all time! That's like saying you don't know what baseball is.

Excellent movie

Wow haha I got owned

I don't understand what all the fuss is though.. simply because I didn't pick up on a movie reference? Or was this one of those things that was repeated ad nauseum in the 80's? I honestly cannot recall.

1.21 jiggawatts is a staple in time, my friend.

BTTF series is classic. It's like not knowing about Superman, or the basic rules of football.

I had a Deathstar...it was actually a pretty good drive (especially since I got it for free!), and I slapped a big HDD cooler on it and sold it months later in perfectly good condition.

Still, every time I see a reference to the 75GXP, I think of this.
