I'm installing WindowsXP -- in a window -- on my MAC. :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

These Powerbooks are something else, let me tell you.

*EDIT*

Posting now in IE on XP in a window on OSX. Ain't technology grand?
Performance is actually pretty reasonable. A bit choppy and sluggish here and there but pretty damn respectable.

I would be interested in hearing how well XP and XP programs worked being run on that powerbook. I've seen this demoed at compusa before, but how well does it work in the real world.

hey try photoshop for the pc on it.

I want to see how it runs.

Run Q3 on it and see how the fps is on it. What graphics card does it have?

Don't dot he mac version of Q3 if you can help it. If I remember the Q3 is both on the cd, as I think I saw the Mac sign on the cover of the dvd box of Q3. I was thinking of going that route sometime in the future myself.

Thanks.

Well you caught me of guard there, I really didn't have anything in mind I figured that if your loading XP on a Mac you must have programs you wanted to run.:D

As he probably wanted the thin size and looks. The wide screen lcd if he didn't get the smallest PowerBook 12.1 version, the superdrive which is great. Only the Sony top end vaio has that and its too big, not thin enough and the design kind of sucks and I'm a big Sony fan but not with their bigger machines though.

Specs are pretty good also.
