I just heard some songs from Journey's new album. WTF happened? These guys are playing some pretty hard rock on this and definitely not the ballads they are known for. Unusual for a 35+ year old band for sure.

I've always been a pretty big fan of the band, but not so much lately until this. They seem to have gotten outside of the guilty pleasure bullshit. I can listen to these with my windows DOWN.

Don't worry it gets worse.

I got this album the other day. It takes a few spins, then out the other end you go this works or it doesn't. Sonically, this is the best they've done since Frontiers, IMO. Lots of twists and turns. You absolutely have no idea where some of these songs are going and thats the best part. People who click the tracks and try and decide if they like a song or not are just not gonna get this. It's pretty deep....and big. {shrug}
