I've had enough of this. Pallander, stop being ignorant to everyone in here! What makes you think that you know more about soccer/football than american, japanese, bulgarian, afghani, brazilian or penguinese? Instead of opening up a discussion about the pros and cons of a specific player, you just flame away.
Personaly, I believe that Rivaldo is a great player, but with several difficulties. Physically, he's worn out. Yes, he can make the final strech between half-field down to three quarters of the field. He is unable to make the final strech on a counter attack up till the goal. Also, he always needs to rely on the other men to push forward a counter-attack. I agree that Ronaldo is much more of an opportunist, but his determined position doesn't allow much. Since other players are pulled back a little, Ronaldo is always open up front ... which seems inneficient because our middle-fielders aren't being able to connect the defense to the attack.
