This is why you don't want government coining money, nevertheless printing money.

So who is supposed to coin/print it?

Let me guess, "competing currencies" utopian world will be the solution through the "free market".

yeah, that's utterly ridiculous.

Yet another Anarchist fail thread.

You do realize that coining money is in Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution?

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

To borrow money on the credit of the United States;

To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;

To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;

To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;

Did you read the article I linked? What could be worse? I'm sick of people always going with the status quo.

It isn't the status quo for the hell of it. It's the status quo because it makes the most sense.

You take the Winston Churchill quote to the opposite...

You will eventually do the wrong thing after trying all of the right things.

Should we now get rid of actual lanes and road laws in favor of just driving how/when/where we want? Laws and lanes are so...status quo.

Let me get this straight, you want to alter the way the entire world's exchange system works, and your argument is a link about people living 2,000 years ago along with "I'm sick of the status quo".

That is the dumbest argument I have heard on here in a long time. Just a quick look at the front page of threads on here should show you how much competition you had to overcome to merit that honor.

He didn't get past the cool "anarchist" part of the equation.
