It's interesting how careful the French government is treating the protesters who are bringing the country to its knees. The question is how, in the era of globalization, it is viable to have the retirement age set at 60 and still sustain the economy. It's difficult enough as it is for young employees to pay for the retirement benefits of the older generation.
