I think so.

I'd be disappointed if the hull ever hit a rock or log or something. Carbon fiber's abrasion and impact resistance is (are?) not very good.
 
I was checking out the top 100 list, & the thought crossed my mind:

How much do people have to worry about piracy in one of these?

It would seem to me that even a $20 million boat floating around manned by civilians would be a prime target.

If I had one I'd be armed to the f'ing teeth.
