Because everyone else does heh...

Had 2 1-hour meetings today. Both were cancelled.

Tomorrow I have one that will probably be cancelled.

There is literally nothing going on - so at most I can work-on certain side-projects that have been on the backburner that don't require others to help....

Or just laze around the house heh.

i prefer taking off non-busy weeks because then it means things won't be crazy when i start working again

a couple months ago i took a week off when everyone else was working

and i got so far behind, the next week required me to work 70 hours to catch up

I usually do the same however while also running a business on the side and COVID I haven't really had any opportunity to use up vacation so I need to kill off a week between now and christmas so I took last Friday and today off.

I've still done a couple of hours of work today and last Friday but that's the nature of sales.

I sometimes like to work Christmas for that reason. I still manage to get a bit of family time, and it's dead quiet at work anyway, and the pay is super good.

Took this year off though, working new years instead.

I figured it was gonna be so the OP could stalk his family members to try and kidnap them so he can finally take them out to dinner since none of them would willingly do so.
