so in the paper today, The daily Express, the head line is "BRITAIN A SOFT TOUCH" so i got reading

turns out, and asylum seeker, granted asylum to the UK has conned £30,000 in benefits off the TAX payers (ie me and my family and everyone else who earns a honest living)

whats worse is, she had £70,000 in savings in a bank, she used income support, council tax relief and housing benefit to swindle this £30,000 of our state.

after going to court yesterday it turns out shes been let of scot free, and maintains shes never going to pay the money back

so basically stolen £30,000 from the tax payer, not gona pay it back, got off completely fee of charge.....SHOCKING people wonder why i seem at bit racist at times, and this is why....these asylum seekers get here then sponge off us to get them going, when they dont need the benefits anymore they dont stop, they'll jus keep claiming free money whatever job they have.

again Abu Hamza comes to mind. he practices a preaches ANTI-US and UK ideas, says that a massacre like the russian school incident would be "just" if carried out in this country and WE pay for him to live here with benefits, and loop holes mean he cant be deported just like that!

these cheats cost us 2 BILLION a year and our legal system lets them get away with it.

and then of course theres more stuff about the speed camera issue. since 13years ago when they were set up theve caught more than 12million people. yet deaths on the road have increased...basically more proof that the speed cameras are mostly there to make easy money off the motorists.

i simply cannot wait to leave this SH!T HOLE

It really frustrates me that labour fall over themselves to accomodate asylum seekers and then proceed to dump all over the rest of us. I've no problem about genuine asylum seekers being allowed to stay here and those that need to claim benefits.

As for the speed cameras, I'm all for them. The speed limits are there for a reason, and after all they are limits in perfect conditions, which almost never occur. Dont get me wrong, I'm not saint when it comes to sticking to the speed limit, but if I ever get caught I'm man enough to say that what I was doing was wrong and pay the fines or get the points on my license.
 
Yeah this p!sses me off too. But it's not just the UK, it happens all over Europe. France has a massive problem with arabs coming from north africa and sponging off the support provided by the government. There was this bus found that was full of immigrants. What this bus did (btw, it had no tax/insurance/anything) was drive through various countries of mainland euope (not the UK) and the occupants woull stop off in each country and claim their benefit, then they'd go on to the next country. It really takes the p!ss.

Having said that there's plenty of scum from our own great country who are scamming the government out of cash. Recently in The Sunday Times (a half decent paper 🙂 ) there was a report that the government has created a new class of people: NEETs (Not Employed, Educated or in Training). Basically, ~20 years ago some nasty troll0ps opened their legs to many different guys who duly injected them with their putrid low-grade semen. These people barely brought up their children who were massivly disruptive in class and did anything but work since the parents offered no discipline. Then these kids grew up and started copulating. Now there's loads of young single mothers who have mimicked their parents and we have a massive culture of disruptive, uneducated, unhealthy (with diets of chips, diamond white and ciggies they put more strain on the NHS) people whom are completely funded by the government.

The honest, hard working people have to pay the price for these fvckers. The worst are women who have kids soley to get that extra benefits. Every few years they fire out another 'miracle of life' and they get even more cash from us taxpayers.

You need a license to own a dog but any fvckwit can have children...

In principle I agree with them. However, I think the placement of some cameras is a little sneaky/pointless. Outisde schools and residential areas is sound, but on long straights of a motorway it seems somewhat futile. Accident blackspots: fine.

The tax smokers generally pay gives more money to the NHS than the cost of the smokers, IIRC.
But if they get their money for smoking from benefits, that doesn't really help in these cases.

yeah in principle i agree too, but yes placement is suspect.

there is one near where i live, and sensibly its pointing at a cross roads to catch people flooring it to get through on a amber light. screaming into a cross road to avoid waiting 5 mins is dangerous and i agree. but then theres speed cameras hidden behind trees and high walls in places where there have been no accidents

DO the POLICE really need a MERCEDES E class patrol car? im serious a brand spanking gleamingly new Merc E class painted in police colours.....do they need a luxury car to police Middlesbrough? no. they cant even argue its for highway patrol...mercs arent fast, and they have a whole fleet of Volvo T5's to do that job

Phew, thats a relief! 🙂 (wasnt bashing you before, forgot the smiley, but when I realised it was a bit late to edit the message).

My parents have the express, and I read it at the local pub sometimes if its there, but I think its such a rag, with annoying celeb photos/bashing and sensationalism of things, like what you mentioned.

Personally I read the Times on a saturday (dont have a paper in the week). I like it because its more descriptive of what its reporting, and mostly has points of view from all sides. It doesnt sensationalise everything.

I've always wondered this... many of the cars seem to be a little too good for the force that should be keeping costs to a minimum. Perhaps it's about the resale value. For example, where I'm from they recently bought two new police cars but in silver (metallic grey) rather than the typical white. To the press they said it was part of some high visibility campaign (it's the colour of the car we notice not the huge panels of yellow & blue stickers, lights on the top and POLICE written everywhere :roll: ) but insiders said it was actually because that colour of car has a significantly higher resale value than plain old white. I'd rather a silver car than a white one...

Perhaps it's becasue Mercs retain their value better than the volvos...

Not at all I just think GB is the worst western country one could live in, mainly due to policy that makes people a slave to the state, even worse than Austrailia.😉
