It was only missing a controller so I bought one for $15 (cheapest decent one that Bestbuy had). I figured a fully functional PS2 with modem for $40 is a pretty good deal, especially since I've been looking to buy one for awhile now.

Any other garage sale finds out there this weekend?

That only depends on the quantity of certian bricks. Some are worth more than others. Legos do kick a$$ though.

I thought about reselling it, but I've wanted one for awhile so that would be rather stupid to then be back looking for another deal!

I buy used, refurbished, clearance, etc., all the time. In fact, I also picked up a Toshiba 14" flat screen CRT with stereo speakers for $99 on a Bestbuy open box deal. ;)

I had a garage sale recently, and I hate when people haggle, especially when it's already a very fair price. If it's a higher price than it's really worth, I'll haggle, but if it's priced where it should be or very fairly, I don't haggle.
