A colleague of mine has a son who is about to start studying business engineering and they have been issued the following requirements:
Windows PC
Ryzen 5/Intel i5
minimum 16 GB ram
dedicated video card
as much storage as possible
So I think 16" 2560x1440 screen and using this I end up at
Lenovo Ideapad pro 5
16" 2560x1440 @120Hz
Ryzen 7640H 6-core
16Gb LDDDR5X 6400Mhz
512GB SSD
6GB RTX 3050
Total price incl 25% VAT 8969DKK (~$1309),
For 800DKK (~$115) I could upgrade it to
7840H 8-core
32 GB ram
1TB SSD
So I told my colleague it would be bonkers not to get the upgrade. And that is why I like PC-laptops that you can get good upgrades for very little cost, but also I don't understand who wouldn't get these upgrades. The SSD upgrade was 30DKK (~$4) :O
