I've done a bit of hiking in ROMO. A lot of the national parks actually.

It's because all the CA people moved to CO.

I think they just have an issue with Boulder.

It's a nice place. I was there for about 8 months for work a while back.

I don't think you would want to carry all of that up there. Especially depending on where you live now, as that place I think is about 11,000 ft. elevation, and the hike I would say is around 2,000 ft. elevation gain total.

A friend of mine does that. They have a place in Denver that you can qualify I think - also I think you can at Lake Estes.....but other than that you're pretty much screwed obviously :p
