The number of ROMs mentioned blew minds yet also introduced many of you to something you may have never heard of; it was a great success.

I had my Droid X rooted for months strictly for wifi tether. Finally ROM'd with Liquid's Gingerbread and it's like a whole new phone.

I must admit, I am a little surprised to see the CM7 Nightlies grabbing such a large chunk of the pie.

I'm surprised UltimateDroid has such a small share, my impression was that it was more popular.

I'm using the CM nightlies.

On Bugless Beast right now...have tried quite a few though, along with kernels left and right. In some ways would hate to have a phone that "just works". I like tinkering and playing with my OG Droid. But would never let my wife have something like Android in it's current state. Would probably get a concussion from her winging it at my head when it acts up. Maybe an HTC phone with Sense...maybe.

I am on Liberty 1.5 and Hating it. 1.0 was a lot better. 1.5 has been very buggy for me.

Was running the latest Sapphire.
Giving a phone to a friend. Unrooted it.

I loaded up Project Elite 4.2 about a week ago. I must say, it's the smoothest froyo/gingerbread rom I've used. Stability of Sapphire, and the options of UD 2.5. It's in custom roms> Actngrezy's section on droidforums.net.

Good timing for this thread. I just picked up an OG Droid to mess around with in anticipation of switching to Verizon but holding off until summer to see what the new lineup of Android and the iPhone 5 is going to look like. Nice and easy to see what's popular at the moment.
