This is what Matrox Parhelia looks like

That's one big HSF it's got! I wonder if there'll not be any difficulties installing that card, b/c it may occupy nearby PCI slot's space...

The HSF is big because it is a ES version, I believe the fan will be a lot smaller when the retail version comes out.

I hope so! What I like about the look of that card are the BGA memory modules. Don't know whether they improve performance, though.

Why don't manufacturers stick the electronics on the other side of the circuit board? That way, any heatsinks won't block PCI slots. May block other things though.

Hope this is for real. Would be nice to have three companies in the hi perf vid card market. There was a time it seemed no one would knock Nvidia off the top of the mountain and now there are two companies threatening to do just that.

Soon I'll be able to drive my favorite sim and have full left, center, right views on full time 🙂

From the character recognition of that Japanese, it apparently supports N-patches, just like the Radeon 8500. Should be interesting.

I like the fact that the ES isn't as long as a Ti4600. As long as it doesn't increase in length, I think a Parhelia may be in my future.
