I have a Powmax 580watt Demon right now but I heard they absolutly suck so I might get rid of it and get a new Antec or something like my case (Antec SOHO Plusview 1000AMG).

I imagine you're a gamer so my advice is to spend the extra $40-$50 on a 6800GT instead. Most will appreciate the extra performance in certain games. You'll benefit from quite a few extra frames from any games using OpenGL. A bunch of big games using the Doom 3 engine (OpenGL) are coming out in the near future. Quake 4 and Prey to name a few.

The OCZ Modstream 520W is your friend 🙂

Looks like an awesome rig.
Don't be too worried by those that come in & tell you the Raptor is a waste, as it's not.
However, I will mention you could go with the 3200+ if you want to OC, & put the money saved toward a larger storage HDD is you need it, or certainly a better PSU.

Muscles: I think he'd be better off saving his pennies & putting them towards a G70 or R520 when they come out, since when they do, both the X800XL & 6800GT will not compare.

I'm not big on O'C I might try it but I'm afraid it might mess up my system which is pretty much going to be my life. I might try to find someone who actually knows how to O'C and have them do it for me. If I can't I will just go with the 3500+ and the only thing I don't like about the OCZ Modstream is the green light because my system is gonna be all red with a silver case.

what core is the 3500+ ? get an ocz modstream 450 or 520 depending on your budget. or maybe even a powerstream 420w

It's venice and is there any OCZ PSU's without the green LED Fan?

i did a google search, and it looked like your current psu was the only one with a red fan. how much can you spend on a powersupply?
