Just to share, this is part of what I did on Christmas: http://img.photobucket.com/alb...88/Photobucket1of1.jpg (just the my tree the night before presents were opened).

I like the farm, but I like the color one more.

Edit:
I reuploaded my picture (so if you clicked it before, you might need to clear your cache before you see the new one). I re-adjusted the white balance as it was too yellow before (as I discovered when I went to print one out).

Did you backlight the tree? (beyond the lights on the tree) Looks like a very cool picture.

I spent my Christmas Day palying various Wii games (first time I have used it) and playing Rock Band on the 360 with family. Both were incredibly fun...even when my 87 year old Grandma started playing Wii Bowling!

No. The only lights on in the room were the tree and the main light in the corner of the room (it would have been to my right when I took the picture). I did reduce some of the shadows in Lightroom to brighten the picture and make it look as it should.

To continue, I used the remote my ATOT SS got for me and I had placed the camera on a shelf to take the picture. I bought a tripod today and once it stops raining and I get a decent night, I'm going to get a picture of my house with the lights on as well.
