This is what happens when you buy cell phone batteries off eBay.

I've bought 3 cellphone batteries off ebay.

Different sellers. All have worked great.

Maybe the person should buy from someone/company that is reputable
 
Whoa damn, I wouldn't put that anywhere near my cell phone or the pocket it goes in for that matter. Can you say severe nut scorching?

On a serious note, suspicious lipoly packs are nothing to sneeze at!
 
Yeah, the y is off, and the text above the decal thing is further right on the fake one.

Look for an agency that tries to crack down on counterfit stuff like that and let them know about it and who you bought it off of.

Also the serial number is printed alot closer to the batch number and date of manufacture on the phony than it is on the real one.
 
Huh....I have gotten a Laptop battery (pre-Sony fiasco) and a PDA battery. I tried to go with the most repudible dealer and it has worked! No problems yet!
