I grew up in the middle of the sticks. People that were asses usually got what was coming to them, i.e. beat up, car wrecked, etc..
I now live in NYC. People that are asses here just get away with it, no one cares. IMO, people are on much better behavior when the're forced to be responcible for there actions.
Good for them. If you cheat in school you get in trouble and you should. If you cheat at a computer game you should have the same treatment. It's called society... it's kept together by social laws of acceptable behavior. Cheat at your single player games all you want but as soon as you reach multi., stop. From my perspective that SOB was lucky to not get the crap kicked out of him. Chucking his computer was mild.
I think it was real footage. Notice the weird things that occur. Camera pans really fast, someone spends time to disconnect the computer, the guy runs back for his case cover??? All a bit too odd to be staged if you ask me.
