i don't like it at all. it looks too "cute." since when were hardened computer geeks supposed to have "cute" desktops? my black and grey windows setup looks just fine.

Actually, Apple's A/UX was a pretty good OS. It also had a UNIX style shell as well.

Is BSD or NeXT really considered to be a flavor of UNIX? If so, is Linux a flavor of UNIX as well?

So, why do all of you folks hate Windows XP so much? That's like saying you hate Windows because someone went to appearance and turned the High Contrast scheme on. Would you folks like it better if the picture was a XP with the Slate scheme instead?

 

Macintosh != Networking
