I started volunteering at the school for the disabled this week, and I always thought that they still had no internet access until I was shocked on what I saw!!!!!!! they use networking in administrative offices while there are computers that use AOL through the phone lines. The IT Department has no knowledge in networking and they don't care if the computer is unreliable Office 2000 is really screwed up and I have to bring my school laptop every time I volunteer there. Weird!

the old school is not MODERNIZED and it is all the same. They don't do well with computers and I think that they should be more knowledgeable in networking...

I will tell them that I would like to help them by saying this nice offer, but I think that they will say no anyways, just because they are newbies and they already assigned me a task, using Excel.

I always wanted to do this for others, but I think that the employees are afraid if I mess up, and they don't understand that fixing computers can be complicated and I am familiar with Windows and how it works.
