I ahve that problem too about once every two or three months. I have a stack of drives sitting here. I just move on and buy whichever drive is on sale. One day I will have the entire internet or at least the porn, music and apps.

WowI feel bad for ya, so lack of HDD space in the beginning, and ur out of that? Get some 80 gigs or something.

Well, it's nothing that good cash can't fix.

If not, try NTFS compression - might help a little.

I really don't download that much anymore like I used too. Below is a screenshot of both of my computers hdd space used and free space. I edited the 2nd PIC to take out a the names of the folders. 2nd computer is kinda used like a server if you will. Thats why it has more data then my main system.

Too bad you didn't mention this last week. Compusa had a 160gb maxtor for $69.99 with no rebates. Granted Compusa was totally out of them, but you could take the flyer to Staples and with a 110% pricematch you'd have one for $69 and change including tax out the door.

hah, friend wanted to fill up a 250Gb drive as fast as possible..
we were all in a Java programming course at the time,
we thought.. hrm.. make Java just write a BIG stinking text file or something..

I think i have a drive less than a gig that still works :p
infact.. gave that to my secret santa..person.. thing...
was like 400 megs.ish

i had a 850 that still works.. the 400 sorta works.. don'ot trust it at all though. neither is being used heh. up to 500gb now...like 20gb free;) no matter how much we get.. they get full easy...
